The design process at Mercia Web

Following the initial meetings, completion of our Client Questionnaire, and acceptance of our proposal. The design and website creation process commences.

We create a range of designs that compliment your corporate image for you to peruse. From these initial designs the elements of layout, style, colour and navigation can be decided. If the initial designs do not meet with your requirements a further set of designs will be created taking into account your valuable feedback. This process is repeated until you are happy with the visual aspect of your proposed website.

Whilst the designing of the website is being carried out, you will be collating the information for inclusion as page content of the website. Mercia Web's involvement with the creation of the page copy will include providing you with a SEM (Search Engine Marketing) report on the keywords or phrases which your potential customers are using whilst searching the internet for information on your services or products.

Once the copy is created we populate the pages of the website, create the relevant navigation structure and using our quality checklist ensure that the site is being formed within the guidelines set out by W3C.

Prior to publication of the website to the world wide web the site is submitted to you for final approval and testing. Once approval has been given the website is published to your webspace and we submit your pages for indexing with the relevant major search engines, Google, MSN, Yahoo, Dmoz and others that are required.
